I prefer to empty the capsule in juice or water, and take it that way. It tastes great mixed with a little bit of cranberry juice. I have tried a lot of different iron supplements and I feel that this one is worth the price.This product contains a probiotic. After using this product for 6 months I began recommending to my patients. Low iron often goes undetected. Many providers do not take the time to check it unless you are anemic. Early signs of low iron can include hair loss, fatigue, muscle cramps. It is not a routine screen but if your primary care is good they can recognize early signs from a simple blood count. I can not say enough about this product. I have recommended a couple other but this is my personal favorite. My patients love it because they do not experience those unwanted side effects.
