(Health and Beauty) Only writing this because I see that someone had some hair issues as a result of this. :( Woldn't want someone else ot make the same mistake. THIS is a PROTEIN Treatment. A reconstructor, I think. The purpose of a protein treatment is to strengthen hair. If your hair is limp, stretches to a great extent when pulled, mushy, breaking, etc... then this would helpful to you. If your hair is dry, brittle, taut when pulled, with no give, 'breaking' then this would most likely increase your issues. Because it will make the hair dryer, even more brittle and more prone to breakage. You'd most likely need MOISTURE--conditioners and shampoos that moisturize the hair, i.e., 1. Nexxus Humectress, 2. Elucence MB 3. Aubrey Organics 4. Keracare Humecto, etc... You're not supposed to use this product as you would a regular condition. And you have to know how to assess your own 'hair health' to know if your issue... (Health and Beauty) This product is wonderful!!! I used it like everyone else and sat under the dryer until it was hard. Then rinsed it out and immediately felt the difference in my hair. Soft, shiny, silky, and much much stronger. What they don't tell you is two things: 1) make sure you use the ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer immediately following this treatment because it is a very powerful product. The Balancing Moisturizer does just that--balances your hair; and 2) don't use this treatment more frequently than every six weeks. (Health and Beauty) This is a wonderful product that I refer to my customers for bad hair breakage. IT is wonderful when you use it correctly. YOu do get under the dryer after washing and let it dry Hard. After rinsing it softly no combing through or combing through until all the product is rinsed out, then use the Balancing Moisterizer. Rinse that out, blow dry or sit under dryer or better yet use the aphogee reconstructor and leave in conditioner and roller set the hair ( or what ever you choose) Honestly the Aphogee line is excellent. Don't over use this product the Two Step Deep Conditioner or your going to have reverse effects. After you use this try the two minute conditioning system by aphogee in between. Huh, I can go on and on. But I won't Get about $40 together and just get the whole Aphogee line and see for yourself, consistency is the key. |
